These fiber coupled 1064 nm laser diodes are offered as stock items or associated with a CW or Pulsed Laser Diode Driver. They are compatible with low noise CW or high speed nanosecond pulsed drivers. Turn-key laser modules with TEC controller are offered in an open or integrated version.

These 1064 nm laser diode can reach high power in nanosecond pulse regime up to 2 W. Most Turn-key diode+driver solutions are optimized for single-shot to CW performances with pulse width lengths down to 1 nanosecond. 1064 nm laser diode precision pulses are generated internally by an on-board pulse generator, or on demand from an external TTL signal.  A multimode version is also offered for CW emission up to 10W.

These 1064 nm laser diode are offered in 4 versions :

  • A high power singlemode version (550 mW)  at 1060 nm ideal for CW of pulse applications when a pulse emission wavelength evolution in the first nanoseconds can be tolerated
  • A fiber coupled DFB 1064 nm laser diode with typically 200 kHz bandwidth which reaches up to 200 mW in CW and 800 mW in pulse regime with a very stable emission bandwidth from the first nanosecond.
  • A Broad and stable emission bandwidth version at 1064 nm ideal for fiber lasers when SBS effect is a limitation.
  • A high power version (10 W) at 1064 nm in a 200 µm multimode fiber

These laser diodes can be ordered with a nice turn-key pulse & CW laser diode driver (see the “specs” window)

The GUI software of the optional drivers lets the user have total control of all module functions. It includes several libraries for software integration (LabVIEW VIs, DLLs, Hexa, Python etc.)

These 1064 nm laser diodes & turn-key solutions work also in series with other products in our range like (see ordering information bellow for the various configurations with standard drivers) :

Important note : narrow Bragg laser diodes like diode #1 take several tens of nanosecond to lock on the Bragg grating : the wavelength bandwidth is broader at the beginning of the pulse. Prefer laser diode #2 if you want a narrow emission all along the pulse duration.
