These DFB 795 nm laser diode devices have the Bragg grating wavelength stabilization section directly integrated onto the laser diode chip section. This provides a narrower emission wavelength in the 100 kHz range (i.e. ~10-6nm) instead of ~0.1 nm for a standard Fabry Pérot with Bragg grating. The wavelength is tunable by adjusting the TEC temperature or adjusting the level of current. It is thus possible to enter it in a control loop to target an atomic transition.
