The Centrale-I LASER SEEDER includes a low noise laser diode and a semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA) operating in a pulsed mode to modulate the laser diode emission. It can be configured to include either an On/Off pulsed SOA driver, or a user-designed temporal pulse-shaping SOA driver. The pulse-shaping model has its own on-board Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) to adjust the shape of the output optical pulse. Scroll down to order online.

This laser seeder is a high performance and compact alternative to other fiber modulated seeder solutions such as Lithium Niobate Electro-Optic Modulators (offered by companies such as Exail or EOSPACE). They also offer an alternative to the fiber coupled AOM solutions offered by AeroDIODE.
