These fiber-coupled 1480 nm laser diodes are offered as stock items or associated with either a CW or pulsed laser diode driver. 2 butterfly DFB models are single-frequency versions up to 40 mW. They are compatible with our low noise CW or pulsed high speed nanosecond pulsed drivers and this makes it an optimal solution for Er3+-ions pumping, thermal superficial laser matter interaction systems or IR camera lighting. 

The singlemode 1480 nm laser diodes are extremely stable and low noise in CW regime due to the DFB or Bragg-grating technologies. Most Turn-key diode + driver solutions are optimized from single-shot to CW performances with pulse width lengths down to 1 nanosecond. The 1480nm laser diode precision pulses are generated internally by an on-board pulse generator, or on demand from an external TTL signal.
